Wild Hill Organics blueberry meadow in early summer,
and again after a rain in autumn. We are located in upland meadows in the beautiful farm country of West Fairlee, Vt. The farm season starts in late February with pruning in the old orchard, followed by pruning in the blueberry meadow in late March.
In a flurry of activity, with good help from friends, we tend the fruit through all weathers, pruning, fertilizing, improving the soil, scything and picking, then putting it all to bed, usually by late October.
Thank you for coming to enjoy the harvest with us, each in its season. Come often, bring friends and family, and enjoy your time in this peaceful place. It does a heart good.
Our best, Peggy and John (and family!)
